THE GOAL
THE SWIM

To bring awareness to immigration issues and raise money to alleviate the suffering of individuals whose family members die while crossing the US-Mexico border.

Water unites swimmers. Water borders should unite countries, embrace humanity. We need one another - across borders.

The Colibri Center
The

The center exist to support families of the missing and dead on the border, and that means we are there for mothers missing their children, fathers raising their kids alone, and siblings who were forced to leave a brother or sister behind in the desert. We sample children for DNA to try and identify the remains of their missing (presumed dead) parents and we write letters for moms who are trying to get their child a passport but can't because the father is missing, and can't co-sign. Ultimately, our work impacts children because our work is about families. We fight for the living by finding dignity for the dead.
